The MOTION study for knee osteoarthritis

Genesis Research Services is exploring whether an investigational biologic drug can improve pain symptoms and limitations of joint function caused by knee osteoarthritis.

This study is to test an investigational medication that could be used to treat painful knee OA. This investigational biologic medication is an intra‑articular (IA) injection (meaning- its injected inside the knee joint), and it may treat your OA pain, improve your knee joint function, and potentially delay the progression of your disease.

An “investigational medication,” also called an experimental drug, is a substance being studied in clinical trials to assess its safety, effectiveness, and appropriate dosage for treating a specific disease or medical condition, like OA.

You may be able to take part if you:

  • Aged 40-80 years old

  • Have experienced moderate to severe pain from osteoarthritis in only one of their knees for 6 months or longer
