Partnering with Arthritis Australia on your Research Project

Changes to our Partnership Guidelines

Currently, our work at Arthritis Australia is made possible thanks to the support of our donors.

As requests for our support continue to grow, we believe strong partnerships are built on shared commitment. This includes contributing to the costs of consumer organisation support for research. It recognises the value of our contributions such as staff time and expertise, community engagement, and organisational resources, while supporting fair, transparent partnerships with external research teams.

Flexible Collaboration Options

If you are planning to apply for grants with us as a partner, we encourage you to consider these costs in your early budget planning or talk to us. We are committed to working flexibly with research teams to ensure alignment with project goals and funding capacity.

How we can support your research

We offer a range of partnership support options for researchers, from endorsement of applications and promotion of research study recruitment to more comprehensive partnership models.

Our Research Partnership Guide will help you identify the right level of support and associated costs for your project.

Lived Experience Involvement in research

Arthritis Australia encourages researchers to involved people with lived experience at every stage of your research from grant writing, co-design, conduct and promotion and dissemination of research.

Arthritis Australia helps researchers meaningfully involve people with lived experience across every stage of research. From grant writing and co-design through to dissemination, we support partnerships that connect researchers and consumers to create research with real-world impact.
