National Programs

National programs where Arthritis Australia has received government funding to develop and implement programs for people of all ages with arthritis.

Arthritis Australia has received government funding to lead and deliver a range of national programs targeting the needs of people living with arthritis and related musculoskeletal conditions. These funded programs support the development and implementation of evidence-based interventions across areas including quality use of medicines, community health, and culturally informed resources for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples

Each program reflects a collaborative approach, bringing together health professionals, consumers, researchers and government to translate evidence into practical impact. Browse the programs below to learn more about these initiatives.

Arthritis Australia and state and territory affiliated arthritis organisations collaborate on grant activities supported by the Australian Government to run kids camps for children of all ages living with juvenile arthritis or related conditions.

Since 2020 over 730 attendees have participated in camps, ranging from family centred day camps that also support siblings and parents, through to overnight camps offering older kids the opportunity to develop new friendships and try a range of activities they may not have thought they could do.
