Community Consultation – Chronic Low Back Pain

Many people living with chronic low back pain continue to experience significant symptoms despite medications, allied health treatment, or current interventional procedures. There remains a high unmet need for better pain relief and better day-to-day function.

A team of clinicians and researchers from The University of New South Wales, The University of Sydney, and clinical services across NSW is seeking community feedback on current interventional approaches and perspectives on potential new directions in care.

We recognise that community input is critical to understanding the ongoing need for more practical pain-symptom management and to ensuring that any future interventions genuinely reflect the priorities of people living with chronic back pain.

We invite you to share your experiences and views to help shape future directions in pain management and guide our emerging research program as we explore new opportunities.

This consultation is being conducted to gather community viewpoints on current and emerging approaches to managing chronic low back pain. Your anonymous feedback will be used solely to inform service planning and future directions in pain management research.

This feedback form takes approximately 3-5 minutes to complete and can be done via the link below or scan the QR code.
