The ENGAGE Project: Educational Workshops on the Use of Digital Tools.
Are you over 65 years old or a family member supporting an older adult with their healthcare? We’re inviting you to take part in a research project focused on improving how patients and families engage in managing medications during transitions of care (such as moving between hospital and home).
Researchers from Monash University are running educational workshops where older adults and family members will be provided with education on the use of two digital resources. We will be measuring how open you are to using these resources before and after the education session.
Workshop details:
Dates: June/July 2026 for 1.5 hours total.
Participation involves attending one session only.
Format: Small, facilitator-led workshops conducted online via zoom.
Participants: We’re looking for older adults aged 65 years and over who have previously been admitted to hospital, as well as family members, to take part in a research study.
Task: Receiving education, completing two surveys, and taking part in an interview.
Reimbursement: $50 Coles/Myer voucher for your time
