Development of Resources for Clinicians to Deliver Gait Retraining to People with Knee Osteoarthritis: A Co-Design Study

The University of Sydney is conducting a study that aims to co-design an online training module for clinicians on gait retraining interventions for people with knee osteoarthritis. The goal is to develop a gait retraining module tailored to the needs of healthcare providers and OA patients, facilitating its future implementation in clinical settings.

We are seeking input from physiotherapists and podiatrists who:

  • Have at least two years of clinical experience, and
  • Have treated individuals with knee osteoarthritis in the past six months.

Participation involves:

  • 1st round: Attend a 15-min mini-lecture and in-person focus group interview at the Susan Wakil Health Building (approximately 2 hours)
  • 2nd round: Individual follow-up Zoom call (approximately 30 minutes)
  • 3rd round: Email feedback (approximately 15 minutes)

Benefits for participants:

  • A $100 gift card as reimbursement for their time,
  • Complimentary refreshments during the focus group,
  • Early access to the gait retraining program and trial version of the online training module.
