Understanding the lived experiences of young adults with chronic physical health conditions

Macquarie University is conducting a study to explore how chronic physical health conditions (such as arthritis, endometriosis, asthma, diabetes etc.) impact wellbeing, mental health, social and vocational functioning, and access to healthcare among young adults aged 18–29.

Participants will complete an anonymous 30-minute online survey about their experiences, what supports they find helpful, and what challenges they face. The aim is to inform improvements in health services, psychological support, and policy for young people living with chronic conditions.

Eligibility criteria:

Participants should be aged 18-29

Living with a chronic physical health condition (lasting 6+ months, seen a healthcare professional)

Able to read/write in English
