Supported by the Australian Rheumatology Association Research Fund, ARA Victoria, the New Zealand Rheumatology Association, Arthritis and Osteoporosis WA and the Arthritis Movement, and our generous individual donors, these programs play a vital role in developing Australia’s early- and mid-career researchers and advancing innovative ideas with the potential to improve arthritis care and outcomes, and to be translated into meaningful real-world impact.

2025 National Research Program
The 2025 Program projects were supported by the generous donations from The Australian Rheumatology Association Research Fund who provide funding each year, Arthritis Australia, ARA Victoria, The Arthritis Movement, and Arthritis and Osteoporosis Western Australia and.
The 2026 Program received a total of 82 applications for funding. From these, 17 awards were approved for funding commencing in 2026. We would also like to acknowledge the Arthritis Australia Grants Assessment Committee. Their expertise ensures every application is rigorously and fairly assessed.
